She attended Pacific University where she studied biology and simultaneously spent time scribing in several Portland metro area emergency rooms. She fell in love with medicine and pursued her Master's of Physician Assistant studies as well as her Doctorate of Medical Sciences at Pacific University. After graduating she spent time in family medicine and urgent care, where she found her passion for patient education, obesity medicine and contraceptive management.

When she isn't taking care of patients, Gargi enjoys traveling, exploring the great outdoors, and adventuring through Portland's food scene, all with her son and husband in tow.
